It’s hard to believe that, at one point in my life, these were a staple in my wardrobe. Sometimes change is for the better.

May 2009-May 2012. My hair has been different every May since 2009. I don’t know why I notice these things.

So I’m trying really hard not to be totally obsessed with One Direction and this remix isn’t making it any easier.

I would love to go on tour with this band and chronicle their adventures on the road. Something tells me it would be very interesting.
Remember this diddy? Released back in 2003, when the economy was better, gas was only $1.50 a gallon (in New Jersey, that is), and I was a ripe ten years old, Simple Plan was just getting their footing as one of the front-runners in the pop-punk world. Their sound was so different than anything I’d listened to prior to that point. Needless to say, I was addicted. Pun intended.
If anyone was interested in what I’ve been working on: I’m writing a screenplay. My second feature length one, actually. I feel like this writing experience has been completely different than the first time around. The words came easier then and they were as sharp as a knife. This time, I’m very particular with what phrases I use in order for the characters to have a distinct voice. I know what I want them to be like this time rather than just guessing and checking. I have a story rather than going with the flow.
Its always hard for me to tell if something is “funny” enough because personally, I don’t think I’m that “funny.” Yet, all I write are “funny” things. So maybe I’ll publish a bit and see if it’s humorous enough or if I’m totally going in the wrong direction.
Okay, here’s a little background. The film is called Arkansas and it centers around a guy named Mark who’s pretty much perfect but then things get not so perfect (i.e. loses his girlfriend and job in the same day) so he decides to act on a demand that came to him in a dream: go to Arkansas.
This scene is when Mark gets fired.
