alt-J - Left Hand Free

This has such a classic rock feel about it yet still sounds fresh and current. It’s like a cute new boyfriend who effortlessly wears purposefully distressed clothing.

Saint Pepsi - Fiona Coyne

It’s not every day that a Degrassi character, post-Jimmy era is referenced in popular culture (we can all blame Drake for that one), but baby-faced Ryan DeRobertis aka Saint Pepsi has done a superb job at bringing the almost irrelevant teen drama back into the spotlight.

Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High) Chainsmokers Remix

All about the remixes lately. And when they’re this good, how can you resist?

The horns, oh the horns!

For Jonathan of Corbu, it’s always been about the visuals as well as the sounds. From architecture and dreams, to colors and muted National Geographic documentaries projected on the walls in the studio, the presentation of the band’s sounds outside Jonathan’s head have to make as much sense as they do inside his head.

It all works when you hear the dreamy, celestial, otherworldly compositions—and the band’s Instagram provides a thoughtful display of how heavily the band’s aesthetic represents their music.

You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud.

The best way for me to describe Corbu is to say that they sound like an extraterrestrial Shiny Toy Guns. I’ll let you decide for yourself.

Vance Joy - Riptide

Am I like every other girl in America when I admit to liking this song? Because I do—very much in fact.
